Flowers from Dan
Dan and I have been doing well. Some of the things we've been doing this month include; gardening, mowing, working on new ambulance purchase for fire dept and house projects. I am still teaching at SCC and taking cake classes. I also had to travel to St Louis for a couple days for a flight paramedic review course that I need to renew my FPC certification. Hopefully May won't be quite so exhausting. These are the beautiful roses I got from Dan. I love the colors.

Well I finally finished course three of the cake decorating class. Joanne, Mom and I have been practicing the techniques by making a LOT of cakes. Joanne plans on going into business. Her cakes turned out GORGEOUS. She is so creative.

These are the fondant cakes mom and I made for our cake class.

This is the tiered cake i made for the final class lesson.

A Busy April
OK I am finally updating my blog. Thanks for the many reminders. April has been very busy thus far. Joanne, mom and I have been taking course 2 of the cake decorating class. Here are some of our creations:

With all this activity we wore little Ethan out.

Landon came to my house to decorate Easter eggs. I had to work on Easter Sunday so this was the extent of the holiday for us until a later date.

I also went to a pampered chef party and picked up a few new kitchen gadgets. I bought a stoneware pizza pan. Robert and I made homemade pizza. It was awesome. Joanne gave me a recipe for some really good pizza crust. I think I can tolerate homemade pizza since I have control over what it is made of. MMMMM and I get to use my homemade sauce that I canned with my homegrown tomatoes last year.

Then we attended my niece's wedding. Here are a few photos of the reception.
