Sept 16th 2009
Been very busy lately. I am picking the last of my garden and prepping for next year. Tired of canning. Haven't done as much as last year but still canned plenty. Today I am canning sauerkraut. My first attempt at the old fashioned German Kraut. My Grandpa would be proud. I believe there are still about 5 heads of cabbage in Mom's garden. Tomorrow I will check and if so I will make more. Still working crazy hours. Having no kids home sure makes the housework easier. I was going to do some loads of laundry today and realized there wasn't much to do. Only TWO loads!!!! Now if DW and I quit wearing clothes I would have it made!! LOL

ReplyDeleteYou guys had it really good up there! I would love to take an Alaska cruise. We have had several friends go this year... and every one of them have only had good things to say about it.
Kathy has her blog up... but I am looking to do one soon. (I used to have a couple going about various topics, but I think I'm just going to keep it focused).
I have been looking for some good software for Kathy to do her slideshows on her blog and I think you helped me find it. :)
Anyway... you guys looked definitely more relaxed than the rest of America! :)
